Biogas Technologies Africa Limited (BTAL) stands at the forefront of
Africa’s clean energy revolution, transforming what was once

Today, these organic materials are recognized not as waste, but as
valuable discards-or Materials in Transit (MINT)- full of untapped
potential. Founded in 2001 by the visionary John Afari ldan, BTAL has
led the development and implementation of discard-to – energy
solutions across Ghana and the broader African continent, providing
a cleaner and more sustainable alternative to traditional energy sources.
